We would like to inform you of an important update regarding travel to Brazil:


Starting April 10, 2025, tourists from the United States, Canada, and Australia will be required to obtain a visa prior to traveling to Brazil. Please note that visas will not be issued upon arrival.


Key Information:

·         The visa application is completely electronic.

·         Approved visas will be sent via email as a PDF.

·         You must print and present your eVisa at the airport prior to boarding.

·         No boarding will be allowed without a printed visa.


Visiting Iguaçu Falls?

If you plan to cross the land border from Argentina to visit the Brazilian side of Iguaçu Falls, you must have a valid eVisa beforehand. Visas cannot be issued at the border.

VFS is the only authorized provider for Brazil's tourist and business visa applications.


Fees (subject to change without notice):

·         Visa Fee: USD $80.00

·         VFS Service Fee: USD $0.90


How to Apply:

1.      Register & Upload Documents:
Create an account on the official website, fill in the required details, and upload all necessary documents. For minors, additional documentation will be required.

2.      Pay the Fees:
Payments can be made online using Mastercard or Visa (credit or debit).

3.      Receive & Print Your eVisa:
Once approved, the eVisa will be emailed as a PDF. You must print it and keep a digital copy on your mobile device.


Note for Minor Applicants:

Minors must submit a signed authorization form from one or both parents. The form must be uploaded with the visa application.

We recommend applying well in advance of your trip to avoid any disruptions to your travel plans.
