Due to the unprecedented scope of the current situation, Great Value Vacations is now postponing all bookings set to depart now through April 30th

Our clients’ safety and well-being are of utmost importance to us and we don’t want anyone to feel obligated to travel during this difficult time.  Further, we have heard from our clients and understand the frustration with trying to get through to us to ask questions and make changes.  This is a fluid situation and we are working hard to be as responsive as possible. 

Please see below for more details.  We ask that you do not call us at this time regarding your booking, as we are dealing with customers currently traveling as our top priority. You will see below that you will have plenty of time to rebook your vacation at a later time.

Who is affected by this policy?
Anyone with a booking with Great Value Vacations departing between March 15 and April 30, 2020.

Will I get credit for my original purchase?
Yes, you will receive a Future Travel Credit for the full amount you paid for your vacation.

What are the terms of rebooking?
You must fly on the same airline as your original booking and complete travel by 12/31/2020.  All change fees are being waived. 

Do I have to rebook the exact itinerary I originally booked?
You may apply your travel credit to any available package, but your original airline carrier must service that destination to proceed without additional fees. 

What if I cannot meet those terms?
If travel is not able to be rescheduled within these guidelines, you may extend their Future Travel Credit and apply any unused value of the ticket toward a new booking for a period of one year from the original booking date. Applicable change fees and fare differences will apply for new travel dates.

Why can’t I just have my money back?
Unfortunately, due to the contracts we have with airlines and other suppliers, we are unable to offer refunds.  

What are the next steps?
Your credit will be viewable in your online Traveler Portal shortly:  We ask for your patience as we process these changes.

Can I rebook online using my credit?
No, you must rebook via our call center, but we are working to put that functionality on our website.

Can I call now to rebook?
We ask that you please defer your call for now as we are still busy addressing urgent matters with customers who are currently traveling - that is our top priority.  You should have ample time to rebook your travel and we ask for your patience. 

What if I have a booking past April 30?
As of now, your booking still holds.  If you bought Great Value Vacations’ Travel Protection Plan please refer to the terms of the plan as detailed in the Summary section of your Traveler Portal Account.  

For example, if you purchased our 'cancel for any reason' plan you may change your booking for any reason as long as this change is done outside of 72 hours of your scheduled travel date.  

If you did not buy Travel Protection, change fees from airlines and other partners may apply.
